Matt Bahl, a recovering lawyer, works with customers across the country to help them link health and productivity analytics to business outcomes. With broad experience in law, HR, operations and healthcare, Matt helps businesses apply data and analytics to identify the key drivers of absence and lost productivity with an eye toward innovative solutions that promote employee engagement, wellbeing, talent retention, improved productivity, reduced absence, and (ultimately) positive business outcomes. Prior to joining Prudential, Matt served as Vice President of Human Resources for a large health-system in northern New England. Matt began his career as an attorney with focusing on representing employers in labor and employment law matters. Matt has traveled all over the country speaking on a wide range of topics including the aging population, employee engagement, talent retention strategies, building a culture of employee well-being, the importance of financial wellness, the multi-generation workforce and ways businesses can link business outcomes to people outcomes. Matt is a cum laude graduate of the Southern Methodist University – Dedman School of Law, where he served as editor-in-chief of SMU’s Science and Technology Law Review, and is a Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude graduate of Colorado College.
